Localizing and Tracking Anchors with VPS2

When running VPS2, anchor updates will either be of "coarse" or "refined" type. VPS2 will attempt to provide coarse updates for all anchors, while refined updates are only available when the device has localized to the map the anchor was created on.

VPS2 will attempt to automatically localize to available nearby maps. You can also explicitly attempt to localize to any map, public or private, in the same manner as VPS; i.e, by tracking an anchor located on that map.

note

As of the NSDK 4.0 beta version, automatic localization is only available for maps created through the new enterprise tooling for creating, uploading and managing maps as part of an organization.
